After finishing Octopus and Wasp (you have to wait few more days before it will be released on our website and Etsy, still waiting for camera to take some good quality photos), we have decided to take a journey to the past.
My Neighbor Totoro (1988, Hayao Miyazaki)
In Japan “My Neighbor Totoro” achieved unprecedented success among audiences of all ages, which is why the title character became the official logo of the Gibili studio and the favorite figure of each child in “the country of cherry blossom” (there is practically no one who has not heard about this film).
Incredible popularity could only be gained by the title from the master’s hand, which is Hayao Miyazaki, who refines his every work in the smallest details, both technical and fictional, richly filled with Japanese beliefs, symbols and infinite love of flying and ecological values (he is a great defender of nature), which has a positive effect on his every production (based on polish Filmweb review by JTotaku).
We will do our best to imbue this bas-relief with the same magic and we are certain this will be a great adventure, so why won’t you take this journey with us? 🙂
